Gaming Oasis

About

Play more, Live more

From Huntsville roots to a full esports operating company.

Gaming Oasis started in the heart of competitive gaming with a simple goal: build communities that work online and in person. What began as Project: Gaming Oasis in July 2020 has grown into League Hub, Event Solutions, and the Southeastern and Northeastern Esports Leagues (SEL and NEL).

Our story

The next generation of gaming, built through real operations.

We curate thriving esports communities that transcend physical and virtual boundaries, then scale what works into software, conferences, and live events.

Born from community, scaled through competition

At the center of the esports landscape, Gaming Oasis emerged as a team deeply entrenched in competitive gaming: production, league operations, and the day-to-day work of helping programs compete at a higher level.

Our journey started with Project: Gaming Oasis in July 2020, an initiative that created a comprehensive remote gaming ecosystem when the industry needed connection most. That foundation grew into the Southeastern Esports League (SEL) in January 2022, a conference conceived and operated under the Gaming Oasis umbrella for high school, college, and amateur competition across the region.

Today we are not limited to our own leagues. As an esports production and management company, we help brands, schools, and partners build entire competitive ecosystems where structure, storytelling, and live events work together.

What Gaming Oasis means today

Skill, ambition, and unity still define our work, but the delivery model is clearer than ever.
  • League Hub runs registration, rosters, and match workflows for conferences and partners.
  • Event Solutions delivers broadcasts, overlays, LAN production, and venue operations.
  • SEL & NEL are flagship conference products that prove the model every season.

Huntsville

Why Huntsville?

Our headquarters and championship heritage are rooted in Huntsville, Alabama, where STEM culture, collegiate programs, and live finals meet.

Building the Southeast's esports home base

Huntsville Gaming Oasis has long advocated for the Rocket City as a natural hub for collegiate and community esports in the region.

From remote-first league seasons to in-person finals at partners like the University of Alabama in Huntsville, we have brought Southeastern programs to the city to compete, connect, and experience what Huntsville offers. A STEM-forward community, strong collegiate scenes, and a culture that embraces modern growth make esports a natural fit, not a replacement for traditional sports, but a complement.

Frederick Wiersig, our Founder & CEO, outlined this vision in a featured piece on why Huntsville can become the esports hub of the Southeast.
